Edward Pinner joined the NSA team in January 2009 as FE Liaison Officer. Having completed his studies at South Warwickshire College of Further Education (now Stratford-upon-Avon College) Edward trained as an actor at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Edward worked in theatre and television for eleven years and has performed at The Nuffield Theatre, Southampton, Leeds Playhouse and with Show of Strength in Bristol. Edward also appeared in London's West End in Journey's End at the Whitehall Theatre. His television credits include: Poirot, The Bill, Have His Carcase (a Dorothy L. Sayers Murder Mystery), Van der Valk, A Touch of Frost and Sitting Pretty.
Edward taught acting technique at the Oxford School of Drama (1994 - 1996) and eventually returned to Further Education as a performing arts lecturer at Stratford-upon-Avon College. He became Programme Manager of the BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts course (1998 - 2001), Deputy Head of School - Creative & Cultural Studies (2000 - 2005) and Deputy Director of Faculty - Creative, Cultural & Academic Studies (2005 - present).
Edward is currently studying for a MA in Drama & Theatre Education at Warwick University and can be heard as the voice of the Shouting Teacher in Duane Hopkins' award winning film Better Things (2008).
