One of our aims for the National Skills Academy is to increase the take up of apprenticeships within the Creative and Cultural Sector. We aim to achieve this through the Apprenticeship Training Service (ATS). The ATS is here to make apprenticeships straight-forward for you - we have listened to what employers have said and we are here to keep it simple.
We can facilitate a good working relationship with your local Founder College, who can provide lots of help with recruitment and with managing the apprenticeship once you've found the right person for your organisation.
The ATS acts as the employer for your apprentice, issuing the contract and managing all the details of salary payments. You pay the apprentice's salary through us, plus a standard charge to cover the paperwork. All you have to do is notify us of your apprentice's hours and we'll do the rest.
